Allday Goods
We’ve had the pleasure of watching Allday Goods grow since their launch in 2022. Founded by London-based chef Hugo Worsley, Allday Goods is all about transforming recycled materials into high-quality kitchen knives. Their commitment to sustainability shines through in their use of waste plastics for handles and their collaboration with Sheffield artisans for blades. It’s been exciting to support them on projects that align with their mission to create products that last a lifetime. At Freckl, we’re proud to have played a part in delivering packaging that complements their dedication to quality and sustainability. We can’t wait to see what the guys have got in store for us next!

Q&A
Tell us a bit about your brand’s background and what inspired you to start.
I started a kitchen knife company called Allday Goods in lockdown 2021. I wanted to create high-quality, colourful and affordable kitchen knives that had a positive impact on the environment. I was inspired to start the brand because of my experience working as a chef in kitchens and the amount of plastic waste we were producing alongside the lack of exciting cookware brands that existed.
What’s been the biggest challenge in growing your business so far?
It’s been hard growing a business in London with the overheads being so expensive. It sometimes feels like everything is stacked against you and you need to pull off a blinder to make it work. I always wanted to create a profitable business with sustainable growth and it’s been hard to build that. I was fortunate enough to launch the business in covid, whilst on furlough and out of my parents garden shed. I’m not sure I would have been able to do it otherwise.
How did you first hear about Freckl, and what made you decide to work with us?
You worked with lots of my favourite brands and it was a no brainer because you guys really are the best in the biz!
How has Freckl supported your packaging projects?
Full end to end design work and packaging production.
Looking ahead, what are your goals and how do you see your brand evolving?
Our goal is (and always has been) to stop more plastic ending up in landfills and our ocean. It’s really as simple as that. If we can do that and have some fun along the way, that’s great for us!
What advice would you give to other startups or small businesses looking to stand out?
Don’t be scared of doing things differently, and when people say it’s not possible or you can’t do it - prove them wrong!
